Chemical engineering welcomes new faculty member, Dawn McFadden

Chemical engineering welcomes new faculty member Dawn McFadden to the department. McFadden’s initial responsibility will be to teach Design of Chemical Plants and Chemical Process Safety which were previously taught by Robert Nedwick.

McFadden is a Penn State alumna, earning her B.S. in 1988 and her M.S. in 1990.

McFadden’s background includes 20 years of experience with Rohm and Haas and with Keystone Industries. Her work in industry has involved process engineering, process research, and project management. She has experience with ion exchange resins, emulsion polymerization, and coatings. She has four U.S. patents and is a Six Sigma Champion.
