Diffusion and Reaction Engineering with Advanced Materials Lab

The Diffusion and Reaction Engineering with Advanced Materials Lab aims to solve energy problems, such as energy conversion, energy storage, and energy conservation, by understanding and manipulating fundamental principles underneath physical and chemical processes, in which purposely designed advanced materials play a central role.

Current research focuses in the lab include:

  • Microporus/nanoporous membranes for natural gas purification
  • Low-temperature synthesis of liquid fuels of porous catalysts
  • Porous materials for selective gas/liquid adsorption
